Click here to see zombies invade American Idol

Thursday outside the Frank Erwin Center, a horde of zombies attacked the "American Idol" auditions....

The pop-star wannabes were largely unimpressed. "I don't get it," said Jacob Gandia, a singer.

Muntean organized the zombie horde using the online forum Craigslist. He posted an ad soliciting people who would like to "raise awareness about the brain-melting nature of television by pretending ... to be a zombie, and terrorizing throngs of vapid pop-star hopefuls at the 'American Idol' auditions."

Muntean says that the event, although meant to be subversive, was mostly for fun.

Little did the zombies know that the "American Idol" organizers had seen the Craigslist ad.

"We've been on 24-hour zombie watch," said coordinating producer Patrick Lynn. "We thought it would be fun to have them on the show."

And that is how the zombies ended up squatting down on the concrete of the Erwin Center's second level, signing release forms to allow their images to be broadcast by Fox TV.

they got co-opted
The zombies - all except for Plan II senior Mike Ferstenfeld - signed release forms to appear on Fox TV.

"We've turned into prostitutes for 'American Idol,'" Ferstenfeld said.

When asked why he decided not to be filmed by the "Idol" crew, he said, "Oh, I don't know."

Common Katrina's Real Name

The hurricane that struck Louisiana yesterday was nicknamed Katrina by the National Weather Service. Its real name is global warming...

To allow the climate to stabilize requires humanity to cut its use of coal and oil by 70 percent. That, of course, threatens the survival of one of the largest commercial enterprises in history.

In 1995, public utility hearings in Minnesota found that the coal industry had paid more than $1 million to four scientists who were public dissenters on global warming. And ExxonMobil has spent more than $13 million since 1998 on an anti-global warming public relations and lobbying campaign.

In 2000, big oil and big coal scored their biggest electoral victory yet when President George W. Bush was elected president -- and subsequently took suggestions from the industry for his climate and energy policies.

As the pace of climate change accelerates, many researchers fear we have already entered a period of irreversible runaway climate change.

Against this background, the ignorance of the American public about global warming stands out as an indictment of the US media.

and then there's this: Hurricane Katrina: Weather Warfare Conspiracy?

not that I'd immediately believe the disinfonauts of CLOAKANDDAGGER.DE without some independant backdrop of veribility but, you know, it's a theory: Category 5 mega-hurricane Katrina bears signature marks of being rigged and magnified using scalar weather engineering

I think it's just the natural by-product of using HAARP excessively added to global warming that was already in evidence

Meet The Artist

Aaron Hill, Comic Book Maven.. In the next few weeks, Aaron & I will be writing the first part of a graphic novel. In addition, we intend to track down Midian... We've got the coordinattes, we know people are interested (heya never) and we've got the resources to record the journey, so why the hell not?

Anyway, as an advert for our upcoming projects, digitrash did an interview with Aaron so you'll know just what to expect from us in the future - & as an added bonus, Aaron gives a pretty concise view of what to look for in the world of comics today

I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I enjoyed editing it

Pentagon Slogans On U.S. Military Gravestones

washington post article:
Families are supposed to have final approval over what goes on the tombstones. That hasn't always happened.

Nadia and Robert McCaffrey, whose son Patrick was killed in Iraq in June 2004, said "Operation Iraqi Freedom" ended up on his government-supplied headstone in Oceanside, Calif., without family approval.

"I was a little taken aback," Robert McCaffrey said, describing his reaction when he first saw the operation name on Patrick's tombstone. "They certainly didn't ask my wife; they didn't ask me." He said Patrick's widow told him she had not been asked either.

"In one way, I feel it's taking advantage to a small degree," McCaffrey said. "Patrick did not want to be there, that is a definite fact."

The owner of the company that has been making gravestones for Arlington and other national cemeteries for nearly two decades is uncomfortable, too.

"It just seems a little brazen that that's put on stones," said Jeff Martell, owner of Granite Industries of Vermont. "It seems like it might be connected to politics."

(just something I saw at Cryptogon kinda freaked me out)

The Georgia Guidestones

this is interesting.
The origin of that strange monument is shrouded in mystery because no one knows the true identity of the man, or men, who commissioned its construction. All that is known for certain is that in June 1979, a well-dressed, articulate stranger visited the office of the Elberton Granite Finishing Company and announced that he wanted to build an edifice to transmit a message to mankind. He identified himself as R. C. Christian, but it soon became apparent that was not his real name. He said that he represented a group of men who wanted to offer direction to humanity, but to date, almost two decades later, no one knows who R. C. Christian really was, or the names of those he represented. Several things are apparent. The messages engraved on the Georgia Guidestones deal with four major fields: (1) Governance and the establishment of a world government, (2) Population and reproduction control, (3) The environment and man's relationship to nature, and (4) Spirituality.

In the public library in Elberton, I found a book written by the man who called himself R.C. Christian. I discovered that the monument he commissioned had been erected in recognition of Thomas Paine and the occult philosophy he espoused. Indeed, the Georgia Guidestones are used for occult ceremonies and mystic celebrations to this very day. Tragically, only one religious leader in the area had the courage to speak out against the American Stonehenge, and he has recently relocated his ministry.

1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
10.Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

five hundred million?
The hole that you see in the stone was drilled in the Center Stone so that the North Star could be visualized through it at any moment. This was one of several requirements stipulated by R.C.Christian for the building of the American Stonehenge and reflects his obsession with the alignment of the stars, the sun, and the moon. Occultists often worship the alignment and movement of heavenly bodies as part of their religious ceremonies

R. C. Christian strike a note of resonance?

R.C. Christian sounds rosicrucian

I'm washing my hands of the anti-profit non-corporate edifice that was Digitrash

As a final gesture, I've made everything digitrash has produced up to this point easily available, including Um.. Yeah, the second Unquiet Mind album that had been kept secret up until today.

please consider this a call for you out there to do your own creative venture and share it with the internet to fill the gap I hope I've left behind(I may return to anti-profit activities should I encounter 'the money and the power' with which to resume this dream)

Poker Without Cards: A Consciousness Thriller

I've read Poker Without Cards four times in the last year. as a result, my life has altered so radically that I now have free food, a pool, and constant high-speed internet. This book will change your life forever. If you are about to commit suicide, wait until you've read this book. If you are about to get married, wait until you've read this book. No matter who you are, if you speak english, you should read this book. If there is any reason why you can't read this book, find someone who can, and have them read it to you out loud. It is your only chance to really understand what it is you think you think. If you are a die-hard christian conservative and you read this book, be aware that your entire world might fall apart. Ried this art, and you might find the real Art. This is the non-fiction version of the Great & Secret Show. There is no greater text on the market (sans Coercion by Doug) that can begin to have the reality altering effects that this book has had on me & those around me. Even if you ignore everything I've ever written and think that I'm just a pedantic blowhard with too much blogging time on my hands, you should still read this book.

lost comment - Fame: Rock Stars and Gurus

Today I spent most of my time looking up various NIN-related information and working on music in obscurity, and this post caught my eye: generation sit - Fame: Rock Stars & Gurus - and I tried to leave this comment but for some reason was unable:
i wonder if there may be some danger in a collective as well: **"The danger of ego inflation through inappropriate feedback, is lessened by membership in a (fairly) equal organization, with some expectations ON the spiritual teacher being imposed by the organization, and some sense of “equal brotherhood” also being imposed."**

perhaps, but it may also lead to a formation of an elitist group, eventually bound to its own internal tradition - I can see this in the natural progression of any secret society, or magickal order, and especially in the branches of specialized sciences

both rock stars & gurus should consistently believe themselves to be a fad. and if one applies N. Senada's theory of obscurity to gurus, one quickly comes to appreciate taoist hermits.

I wonder though, is ego the issue, or a false ego shell that overlays the true center of the self? in other words, are we actually talking about over-inflated personas gaining controll of the conscious self? the idea of actors worshipping the ones who've made it because they don't dare destroy their own ideal of success is a fascinating characterization, and one that will linger in my mind until I've dealt with it sufficiently

Strange Eggs

subversion in it's natural state:

on June 13, 2000 the CLN (Christian Learning Network) asked King-Mob productions to produce twelve episodes of Strange Eggs for syndication.

The stories were to concentrate on children learning about community, solving problems, and above all, helping the less fortunate. These less than fortunate problems were to hatch from eggs.

As a promotional teaser, CLN asked comic book creators Steve Ahlquist (Oz Squad), Chris Reilly (Punch and Judy), and Ben Towle (Farewell, Georgia) to edit a promotional magazine for strange eggs. So, in the tradition of Nickelodeon magazine, they hired a bunch of indy comic creators to create the short stories that would comprise CLN’s "SEAM" (Strange Eggs Adventures Magazine.)

The resulting stories were deemed too disturbingly inappropriate for children that the CLN halted the magazine’s production.

Ahlquist, Reilly, and Towle had already leaked a half dozen Strange Eggs stories to the internet which were viewed by several thousand people before the CLN’s legal department was able to shut the site down. Unfortunately, the damage had been done. The public now associated Strange Eggs with dead gangsters, insane puppets, glow in the dark farts and exploding monkeys.

In August of 2000 King-Mob was told to cease production of Strange Eggs, and the entire project was shelved.

I just finished reading this last night. I'd fucking recommend it for christian kids, I don't know what the fuck the problem might have been.. (maybe it was the dinosaurs eating the fucking creationists) Anyway, they're the ones who asked a company named "King Mob Productions" to make a cartoon.

F5 - note to self

put in job application for delivering this paper just now

Metaversal Full Moon Report (August 19-25) by Johannes Ayres

this is definately 4:20 reading material

I read these most weeks, but this one's worth reading just for the sheer stream of consciousness - like reading paragraph-length sabian symbols it is...

Each month brings a Full Moon, and each one is different. With the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Aquarius, the spotlight is on our personal and social destiny - what we desire to express as individuals and what we are choosing to experience as Humankind. Enormous forces are massed against our individuality, forces that can steam roller-pidgeon hole us into dancing monkeys. Aquarius and conformity go together like peanut butter and motor-oil. The quest for the Self, who we really are, necessitates forsaking the familiar. Wax elf ears, ham-hocks, builders of bridges, trinkets - they all end in snakes or addiction; only you, with your gauche aromas and savoir faire, end up stumbling through the supermarket with an evacuated wasp nest on your head. We must transcend parental and social conditioning, herd and tribal consciousness. Each time we go beyond the bounds of convention, we gain a larger perspective and a greater ability to serve. It could have been otherwise but it wasn't. There are certain things we are meant to understand. They're trying to see if they can blow up the Full Moon without explosives, and they have plunked themselves down on the unmade seabed. That part I understand, but how did that lecherous porpoise seduce a horse?

How indeed.

Dennis Rader goes away

With the razor wire gleaming in the freshly risen sun, serial killer Dennis Rader arrived at the El Dorado state prison early this morning. The three-car escort delivered him to the prison at 7:28 a.m.

Wearing a red jumpsuit and shackled at the waist and ankles, Rader made the short walk from a sedan to the prison's reception and admissions and diagnostic unit. A cluster of reporters and photographers chronicled BTK's arrival in prison, where he will serve 10 life sentences with no chance of parole for more than 40 years.

As BTK, Rader killed 10 people between 1974 and 1991.

I couldn't help but think about Gifted Trust by John Paul Allen when I read about the BTK serial killer

beware the mind-sciences...

a selection from The Occult Background of Psychotherapy by Alan Morrison:

On Jung's eightieth birthday, the C.G. Jung Institute of Zurich presented him with a highly unusual present: an original papyrus manuscript of some of the Gnostic writings found at Nag Hammadi in Egypt in 1945, including the 'Gospel of Truth', the 'Gospel to the Egyptians' (known as the 'Sacred Book of the Great Invisible Spirit') and the two counterfeit 'Gospels' according to Thomas and Philip. These had been obtained through blackmarket channels and represented the writings of the Gnostic School founded by Valentinus in the second century. This collection of works is now officially known as the 'Jung Codex'. Church Father, Irenaeus of Lyons, towards the close of that same century, wrote a chapter in his great work 'Against Heresies' entitled 'How the Valentinians Pervert the Scripture to Support their own Impious Opinions'. We can just as easily apply this statement to include Jung, the Jungians, and the modern 'Christian' psychotherapists who follow him!

Lest the significance of this birthday gift to Jung -- and the influence of Gnosticism on his work -- be underestimated by some readers, the 'Gospel According to Philip' includes within its pages the claim that the person who achieves 'gnosis' is 'no longer a Christian, but a Christ'. This is a classic statement of the Satanic Initiation -- the true thrust behind Jungian psychology, emphasised by the fact that the man himself has actually been referred to as the 'semi-mystical Messiah'.61 This self-divinisation of Jung is brought out especially clearly in the following account of an occasion in Africa:

'Deliberately walking away from his companions, Jung further isolated himself and savoured what he described as the extraordinary feeling of recreating the world -- for himself. "In an invisible act of creation", he put the "stamp of perfection on the world by giving it objective existence".

yeah. the whole article is worth reading if you want to understand just what's going on in the conservative christian's worldview....

, psychotherapy -- even when it appears to work -- leads its victims into a welter of other ungodly (often occultic) interests, produces a false sense of well-being and generates a denial of the leading and power of the Holy Spirit. The presenting problem actually provided a unique opportunity for major surgery on its root cause. In carcinogenic language, psychotherapy operates on a secondary growth, leaving the root cancer free to run riot in numerous unseen ways. Christian mortification, on the other hand, views mad behaviour as indicative of deep structural sin which will require some spiritual resources if it is to be neutralised.

It is tragic that so many Christians are attracted to the ways of the world and lack the discernment to distinguish between the spiritual way and the psychological way. Through the influence of the mind-sciences -- of which psychotherapy is but one component -- the world is rapidly being conditioned, at the mystical level, to accept the most phenomenal hoax worked by Satan since his effecting of the Fall in Eden. The tragedy is that large numbers of professing Christians are working right alongside him in the field of the mind-sciences

(in carcinogenic language? this whole article is written in carcinogenic language)

Notes From Underground

Mutato Nomine has mutated. it was only a matter of time.

Expect more or less of the same

Those tracking this blog, and my life, probably think I've gone crazy in some narcissistic overdrive sort of way. The truth of the matter is that I was a fox living with a pack of wolves, and now I'm seeking out my own den. (and a vixen to share it.)

Take that for what it's worth. Streamlining my lifestyle will pay off in some fashion. I'm still in sporadic mode, but the dizzy sense of spinning seems to be fading.

to be continued...
