I figured something out! Apparently I can parse (ie figure out) up to three vocal tracks simultaneously if I sit still and concentrate - it's great exercise.. I did it mixing a bunch of tracks into one and squelching them and cut & pasting with audacity 1.2.0 pre1 - a great program if you're broke. Unfortunately, due to the laws of the land, I apparently can't keep these cds I've burned this thing off onto because of some obscure... well anyway the upshot of this is I have a number of cds I need destroyed. I'd be willing to ship them to any readers who need a little cash - I'll provide scratch paper (some poetry and artwork I need to get rid of) to use as fuel for a fire on which to melt these cds. & I'll pay you. That's right, anyone who sends me their snail mail address I'll send you a cd I need destroyed, a dollar bill to pay you for the act of destruction, and paper with which to do it. Tesla and his assistants built a one-of-a-kind laboratory on the outskirts of town, which looked like a large barn topped by a 180-foot metal tower. This was Tesla's "magnifying transformer," which he called the greatest of his inventions.

First, even if Tesla's later ideas were dead wrong, they by no means diminish the immense quantity of very right ideas that he contributed to our world. And second, it bears remembering that alternating current was also perceived as unrealistic Tesla gibberish for quite some time before its true brilliance was finally proven. There is the possibility, however remote, that Tesla's most bizarre concepts will be validated at some point in the future, when science finally catches up with him. Only time will tell.

For now, Tesla's true legacy is increasingly being recognized, bit by bit. The Supreme Court ruled shortly after his death that Tesla was the legal inventor of radio, not Guglielmo Marconi. Similarly, Tesla has been rightfully acknowledged as the inventor of the fluorescent bulb, the vacuum tube amplifier and the X-ray machine. History books are now starting to include these facts. I was tidying up when my wife came into the room and stuck some adhesive tape over the brand name. On the tape she had written in colourful letters "BOB". We had just de-branded our first household item.

Having a distaste for intrusive advertising and marketing, this de-branding appealed to me. Most Reality Crackers have read the now famous Supermarket essay by +ORC. Like many others I must pay homage to this essay for inspiring me to really think about the calculated way in which the world around us is constructed. It may appear haphazard, but often it is not.

Nobody asks for email spam in their inbox. Why should you accept spam in your house?

& as I considered the possible ramifications, I started pondering how to go about channeling this knowledge - how do you affect change slowly, over time, that it remain organic and not throw off one's equilibrium? (I guess this is something of a taoist approach to magick) One way is an awareness of psychological space - or rather a combination of feng shui and deliberate removal of any memeticly active material

by removing memetically active material I mean reducing the level of "visionary" noise, as SvD puts it. muckin about with my scattered abstract terminology isn't helping anyone though, so that's why these articles are such an awesome find. really just as simple as cleaning out all the company logos that fill your environment -{adbusters black spot is another approach}- to as complex as deliberate introduction of entropy and noise, reclaiming the systems of control through propaganda reversing.
